Inspire and influence. I love to be inspired, and I live to inspire others. Before getting into the financial services industry, I was in political consulting. Though politics will always be in my blood, in my financial services career, I can inspire someone to step outside of themselves for a moment…to cast a bigger vision… to think of the people they care about….to create a solid plan.
I believe people want to plan for their future but it can be overwhelming, especially if they don’t have a trusted professional to come along beside them. My biggest frustration is knowing that there are more people out there who need help and I haven’t met them yet.
In my free time, I love spending time with people—dinners, church and charity events, golf outings, biking, working out. With my friends, I like to eat, drink, and be merry.
I was a stunt fighter at Frontier City and loved every minute of it. Best $5 dollar an hour job I ever had. I was born at Great Lakes Naval Hospital but raised in Oklahoma City. I am passionate about keeping kids safe from abuse and finding healing. I have the prettiest wife, who made smart babies.

Leading. After leading kids in youth ministry at summer camps for 6 years, I was ready for another career that would allow me to mentor others. As I was growing up, I watched my father guide a variety of people and businesses through the financial planning process in this same career. He has made deep relationships and helped a lot of people. When it came time to choose a career, I thought this would be a great place to start.
This industry can be complex and it’s easy to confuse people with jargon and research. Leading them through this process allows me to educate people on how they can be more financially effective for their family, community, and themselves. I’m always inspired by the potential for something better….for myself and my clients.
When I’m not working, I like active sports (I ran track in college and our team still holds a record…look it up), music, karaoke, coaching. I also enjoy yard games and card games and I play to win. Playing outside with the family.
Born and raised in Wichita, KS. Attempted a Guinness World Record; broke it; got disqualified; will attempt again! Happiest playing and writing music. I ride a unicycle like a boss.

Building. My whole life I have been building. In my early years, I was in construction. Later, I found myself building the athletic department at Wichita State University (Go Shockers!). Now, I help families and businesses build a solid financial future. I got into the financial services industry because I have a passion to serve others and have a meaningful impact in their lives.
A few years ago, I studied for a certification as a Family Business Specialist. The heartbeat of the our country is the family owned business, and they have unique struggles that I can guide them through. When I sit down with a family owned business, I get to hear the blood, sweat and tears that went into creating this entity that runs our nation. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I was born in Claflin, KS and have spent most of my life is this great state. I think this is a great time to be in business in Wichita. It is a small big town with an entrepreneurial spirit that drives people to think and dream big. I love everything about it!
In my spare time, I love a good deck, good drink, and good discussions, as well as golf, basketball, tennis, and pickleball. I love playing and wrestling with my kids. My wife is glue that holds this family together, and I couldn’t do it without her.
Led my high school football team in tackles in my senior year. Causes I care about include providing secondary education for those who can’t afford it and helping exploited women map out their lives after escaping abuse.

Prepare. My dad was a CPA and I watched him prepare taxes for everyone around us. When he died suddenly, we realized that he hadn’t taken time to plan his own financial path. I realized I wanted to help people become confident in their financial future and I went into the financial services industry. When people understand what they have, they can confidentially plan for their future.
I often find that people don’t take time to prepare because they feel they don’t have the resources or they don’t know who to trust for guidance. The most rewarding part of my work is when I understand their lives and their goals, and can help the two intertwine.
During my spare time, I spend time with my two girls, attend concerts, check out local breweries, and enjoy what OKC has to offer. They have added so many events/venues over the past few years, there is always something new to try. I am active in a various non profits in OKC. One that is especially close to my heart is Patient Housing Assistance. They help families and patients with temporary housing when they are seeking treatment at MD Anderson.
Born and raised in Yukon, OK. Wanted to grow up to be a pediatrician. I enjoy rap and really want to go to a Ludacris concert.

Freedom. When I was 17 and looking for a summer job in high school, working at a bank seemed to offer me many future career options. I have stayed in financial services because I like helping my cleints create freedom by having a solid financial plan. When my clients feel like they have a path to follow, they can be better parents, business owners, and friends. And our community is a better place.
I often feel the tug of wanting to care for my existing clients, while knowing there are still so many people out there I have yet to meet and work with. Every day, I’m inspired by the idea of financial freedom for myself and my clients.
When I’m not working, I love sports, mostly OU football and kids’ soccer. You can often find me in the great outdoors, especially during hunting season. An ideal weekend involves doing something fun spontaneously with my wife and kids.
Born and raised in Bartlesville, OK. Some people say that I can dance. Causes related to sports and neglected children are important to me.

Impact. I think about the many people that influenced me through the years. There was the teacher, the coach, my first boss…etc. I would not be where I am without their wisdom and guidance. I learned that the impact that one person’s wise council can have is astounding. Before I began my career in financial services I had many great experiences that included being in ministry and traveling all over the world on mission trips. Eventually, my interest in finances led me to pursue this career so that I could guide and empower people to impact not only their families but also the community around them.
This life can be very busy and what I am discovering is that time does speed up as you get older. I am inspired when I can sit with a family or business and help them make good, sound, financial decisions that will allow them to take care of they things that are important to them. For many, it’s finding the balance of taking care of today’s needs while planning for the future.
When I am not working, I am spending time with my wife and three kids. I love hiking and camping when we have time (which isn’t much right now). I like the extremes of mountains and beaches. More than anything, I love making memories and watching my kids find their passions.
I was born in Guatemala and grew up in Beaver, OK (talk about extremes). I have visited 21 countries

Broke. I watched a 30 for 30 on ESPN called “Broke”. It was a story about professional athletes who went broke after exiting sports. I thought, “Pro athletes should have an accountant, attorney, and financial planner to consult and help manage their lives.” Then I asked myself, “If those people should have professionals to rely on, how much more important is it for a regular person who doesn’t have millions of dollars?” I help provide that level of care to regular people so we change family trees for generations to come.
Calls from clients who tell me they are grateful for our services keep me going each day. When I can help solve some problems in their lives, that’s a win for us both. It’s rewarding when people say they are better off after they have met me, regardless of whether or not we do business together.
I love Tulsa because it has some of the most caring, creative, and passionate people on the face of the planet. I am constantly impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit of our city as well as the humility of our people. When there is a need, people spring into action and find creative solutions to problems that benefit not only our city, but each other.
Born in McAlester, OK. I am an Eagle Scout and have raced sailboats competitively because of the Boy Scouts. Happiest spending time with my wife.

Empower. After completing my MBA at OU, I thought banking would be a great career. But, my loan officer title merely consisted of taking orders from business owners for loans that would provide a quick fix to some short-term problem. I wanted to empower them to make great decisions; so, I sought a position that would enable me to consult with them on their long-range goals and help them prepare for whatever challenges they faced.
Fast forward 32 years, and I’m still learning and finding new ways to fill in the financial gaps threatening business owners and professionals. The best part of the job is working with the young advisors coming on board who have fresh insight for identifying problems and providing solutions to our clients.
When I’m not working, I love to travel, play bad golf, walk my old dog, Pearl, and help in various nonprofit organizations that give back to our stellar community.
Born in Walters, OK, I never want to forget what I’ve learned from my past. Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Character building begins in our infancy and continues until death.”
